Don't suffer under the weight of depression and anxiety, try Reiki and feel better
We have all been there, feeling low, not wanting to get out of bed in the morning, not able to sleep at night, feeling overwhelming saddness, or crying at random things (and no, the Sara McLachlan ad is really sad and a perfectly reasonable excuse.) We can push ourselves so hard and wonder why we are tapped out at the end, days are getting shorter, maybe there is the added pressure of where to spend the holidays served with a side order of family guilt. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illness in the US affecting approximately 18% of the population. How can we find wholesome ways to find relief from all of this discomfort? A good glass of wine sounds fantastic but we know it is not solving the real issues.
In addition to the usual remedies like physical activity, good nutrition, and confiding in a good friend, many people have found relief with Reiki. Reiki can be a good way to reboot our system and inspire us to follow through on the other remedies that will help us. Reiki allows us to let it go and find a way to heal. Our health is the most important resource we have. The link below is a short article that goes into this topic in more detail. Please read it and share.
Love, YF
